Change needs a catalyst. As a guest presenter at our November 2009 speaker’s night Garth Schmalenberg provided an insightful and provocative presentation on the topic of Sustainable Communities. He was articulate and persuasive and initiated an excellent dialogue among our group. Garth’s genuineness is very evident and this, coupled with a talent for engaging his audience, made his presentation one of the best we have enjoyed in the two-year history of our speaker’s series. I’m certain we will be inviting him back at a future date. Patti Foley, President Garth has been described as an "innovative thinker" who presents a broad perspective of change in areas of sustainability, organizations, human and relationship development and instituting change as part of the culture.
Garth will introduce new concepts from the platform and follows them up by sharing new ideas, methods, principles, skills and exercises in workshops, all of which are designed to lower the barrier to change and help explosive energies to be put to better and more productive uses creating learning and synergy within the organization.
Garth incorporates concepts from Sustainable Development, psychology, motivational coaching, relationship coaching, resilience development, and critical thinking. His presentations may touch on the impact of brain physiology, value systems, development patterns, relationship roles and competency development and will definitly cover the role culture change on sustainability. Keynote Topics and Workshops:
After the Talk Garth loves to engage the audience to learn more about their work and their challenges and to offer his in-sights and learning.
